07-26-08 Bologne Sur Mer, France

Actually I screwed up. We ate at the Matalote the next day. It just happens my selective memory chooses to fill date associates with the foods that I eat. It's actually my "trick" to recall deep rooted and specific events that happen during the day but at times these gastronomical cues usurp all other memories. Alas, here is Kathleen posing with some fresh fish as well as the matriarch of the sea. Actually, I have no idea who that fan woman is - I presume she is related to the fisherman in some way since the statue is posted square in the fish market. Finally, appetizer of the Oysters w/ mushroom and mussles sauce and next, Turbot. So good. And actually cheaper than eating une etoille in SF!

happy belated birthday! I miss reading your travel updates. I hope they resume soon.

I'm just starting to organize our Philippines and Europe photos so our blog update may be a while as we're also in the midst of the craziness of settling into SF.

Hope you're having a wonderful time!
