Here are some other pictures we probably won't have time to post and blog about. Last day of massive tourism in London. This is London Tower. The other picture is a great brunch we started the day with in South Kensington, London.

Roma
Arrived in Rome today. It's a great city - vibrant as Barcelona but with more character and definitely more tasty food. We dined al fresca within the Piazza Trastavere. The youth were certainly out en force and the weather was a cool 65 degrees. The pasta here is really fresh. Kathleen and I had some local appetizer fare, a skate fish garnished with olive oil and some local greens as well as a fried artichoke, which I learned later to be a traditional Jewish dish. We each had pasta - mine con vongole and Kathleen with porcine. The flavors seep into the sauce and the pasta with the past being cooked just right with enough 'flower edge' such as to soak the rich yet fluid sauce. So simple but so good. We ended the night having a beer at a local pub, where I drank a half pint of "strongman" beer, which is 7% alcohol. It was Scotch beer and tasted like Scotch + Carlesburg. Not that good actually but nonetheless the scene of everyone out and having a good time on a wed night at 11:30pm (aka 23:30). We like it here in Rome and excited about tomorrow's more touristy itinerary where we go into the Pantheon areas and explore the great civilization of the Romans. Until tomorrow, I shall retire my Pompeii Gladius.
